For the more adventurous, it is well worth diverting up the mountains to the Nonsuch Caves, which are small but informative. The views of the North Coast from here are panoramic to say the least.

There are beaches with beautiful pebbles that surround the South side of the city. On the North side are docks with boats ready to take you fishing, snorkeling or out to Lyme Cay, an island, that is part of a small atoll and has beaches and reefs great for snorkeling.
