Length of Hike: 45 minutes from Newcastle Army Camp.
The trail to Clifton Mount begins in the Newcastle Army camp and is a 15 minute drive from Heritage Gardens. The walk is only lightly inclined and you will find yourself in the middle of a 19th century garden and coffee estate.

The 1/2 hour's drive to Clifton Mount goes around and up through Newcastle directly to the garden. The property is owned by Richard Sharp and the gardens are a showpiece. The property is a working coffee farm and has a cut flower nursery.
